Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) including Crohn’s
disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC) are chronic
diseases that significantly impact on patients’ lives.
Novel diagnostic and interventional techniques, imaging
modalities and the introduction of biologics and small
molecule have dramatically improved their management
and outcomes.
The main aim of this congress is to focus the attention
of practicing IBD experts on the most novel imaging
modalities, the use of new drugs, and how to integrate
them in daily clinical practice. Several interactive clinical
cases will be presented and discussed to deliver the learning objectives.
• Interventional endoscopy in CD management
• Abscess and fistula management outside of perianal region in CD
• Difficult cases in UC
• Small bowel imaging and management
• Pouchitis management
• Clinical challenges in TDM daily practice
